Sap's School was founded in 1975 by Mrs. Emma Nana Asobu Sapara-Grant of blessed memory. The School is a private limited liability company, incorporated 4th August, 2004 and registered to operate as an educational institution.

Sap's School, a first cycle school, is fashioned to provide basic education to children from Creche to Junior High School [JHS] The School is registered with the Ghana Education Service (GES) as a grade “A” private basic school.

SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY

It is our belief that each child is unique individual who needs a secure, caring and stimulating environment in which to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, socially and more importantly, in the image of Jesus Christ.

There are three elements that we believe are conducive to establishing such an environment:

1. The teacher acting as a facilitator
2. Allowing the child’s natural curiosity to direct his/her learning.
3. Promoting respect for all things and all people.

Frequent training sessions within and outside of the school, regular supervision, incentives and motivation for hard work serves to induce positive performance from staff at all levels.

A BRIEF HISTORY

SAP'S School was established in 1975 by Mrs. Emma Asobu Sapara-Grant at Teshie Nungua Estates in Accra, Ghana. The school began as a small pre-school with five students, operating from the founder's porch. Due to popular demand from parents, the school expanded to include a primary unit and later a Junior High School.

The school's early years were marked by a strong emphasis on discipline, Christian values, and extracurricular activities such as music, drama, and arts. The school's founder also prioritized reading and library periods, and played a key role in establishing the Teshie-Nungua Estates Children's Library.

The school gained a reputation for excellence, with students performing in colourful Christmas plays and end-of-term productions that impressed parents and friends of the school. As a result, the school experienced rapid growth and was inundated with admission requests.

In response to this growth, the school acquired a permanent site at Greda Estates, Teshie, where it continues to operate today. Over the years, SAP'S School has maintained its tradition of discipline and excellence, producing students who excel in various fields around the world.

In 2025, SAP'S School celebrates 50 years of providing quality education and shaping the lives of countless students.
